How to use system recovery DVD disc to restore the system of ASUS A55VM series

ASUS A55VM series uses the system recovery DVD disc to restore the system as follows:

 1. Put the system DVD disc into the optical drive Medium (the laptop needs to be powered on first).

2. Restart the laptop and press the button on the keyboard when booting, then select the optical drive (may be labeled "CD/DVD"), and then press Boot from the system recovery DVD.

3. Select a partition project and click [Next]. Partition project:

1) Restore Windows to the first partition only:

This project will only delete the contents of the first partition, allowing the system to retain other partitions, and The system is installed on the "C" drive.

 2) Recover Windows to the entire hard drive:

This project will overwrite all the data in your hard drive and restore the entire hard drive to a single partition named "C".

 3) Restore Windows to a hard disk with two partitions

This project will restore the entire hard disk to the factory settings. Re-divide the hard drive into two partitions. The first partition named "C" has a capacity of about 30% of the hard drive capacity, and the second partition named "D" has a capacity of about 70% of the hard drive capacity, and install the system On the "C" drive. (The ratio of "C" drive to "D" drive capacity will vary depending on the model)

 4. Please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the recovery process.

5. After the recovery is completed, the optical drive will pop up automatically, prompting you to insert the driver CD. If there is no driver CD, you can just shut down and restart.
